Program Purpose The primary intention of this ministry is two-fold.
Furthermore, we can help save lives and change lives by providing a safe place for individuals who are like-minded by sharing the word of God. Provide a local support network for persons who are experiencing the challenges of their addictions. A location where people can be heard, helped, communicate and discover how God can change their lives in a loving environment. This is a 12 step program that is biblically based. Additionally, Wings of Serenity will offer a variety of help literature, guest speakers, and support staff regarding information on addiction. The instructors, speakers, volunteers and participants will have or had some personal experience in addiction related issues. Acknowledge the sensitivity of our temptations and frustrations that lead us to our short comings. To inspire, strengthen and provide a genuine atmosphere of love and knowledge of God who cam free us from addictions. |
Goal Our objective is to have biblically based open group discussion as well as live testimonies, experiences and readings from literature regarding addictions. To reach out and pull in those who are afflicted with addictions. This program is designed to cover the tribulations of addiction. Drugs and alcohol are not the only manifestations of addiction. Addiction comes in many forms and in unusual habits of our lives. Our program desires to support and attend to the addictions that have encountered our families and community. The doors are open to all individuals that need assistance. The strength offered by the ministry will help to give a choice of life over death. |
